Artist’s Thank You’s

  “An Artist’s life is full of thank you’s, for without the support of many friends, we would surely sink into the quagmire. But for this Website, the business behind it, and the support to get it to that point, very Special Thanks are due to the handful of Good and True Friends who make up the ‘Team’ that has enabled this project to come to realization. These people, although few even knowing each other and living scattered about, have each filled a niche in my Team and all have provided intense encouragement and support during dark times when it seemed I might have to give up painting.”

    Skip Whiles- Good and close Friend who has generously created this magnificent website while putting up with my idiot requests and ideas. He is my computer guru and mentor. We live nearby and visit often, sharing other interests such as models and music. Thanks Skipper!

     David McCall- My Best Friend since my second day in school in Harlingen after we moved from West Texas. Dave “Huggy Bear”was one of the members of our rock band. Dave is the real driving force behind this venture. I Love You, Dave!

     Albert Tucker-Long time Good Friend, fellow Artist, patron, and sophisticated art critic, Bert’s experience in the high end gallery and art museum world has helped me tremendously with ideas and decisions and pathways. Thanks Bert!

    Shannon Davies- Shannon is the Editor of my forthcoming book, F.P.Bennett, Painter of Tropical Birds to be published by the Texas A&M University Press. Her friendship and support for this book project gave me hope when there was none and that there was indeed a light at the end of the tunnel. I value her friendship as she is a True Friend that believes in my work and lets me know it in a very direct and sincere manner. Thanks Shannon!

    Marilyn Moseley LaMantia- Last but not least, Marilyn is as close to a sister as this only child will ever have. Her True Friendship has helped me through many difficult times over the last 30 years.
